Popularity

Popularity is a horrific idea. Let us just remind you that popularity is completely meaningless. Don't get down on yourself because you don't have as many followers as "so and so" or because you're not wearing what the popular kids are wearing.

Popularity is a poison that will not follow you into the real world. Being "popular" will not help you in any way.

Many people strive to be popular in order to gain validation, "status," perhaps for a deeper reason.

Overcoming the desire to be "popular" requires self-love and acceptance.

It is preferable to have a few close friends rather than a large group of friends with whom you do not feel as close. As you get older, you realize that these are silly standards developed by silly people. Popularity means nothing in the future, so keep your head up and embrace what you have.

You are a wonderful person. You don't go to school to impress others, after all. You attend school to learn!

It is beautiful to be different, you help make up your community, you are wanted, and you live your life the way you want to!

So many people support you, way more than you think!

We are here for you; you are cared for and loved.

Ways to cope:

If you detected that your feelings are negative, here are a few ways you
can help yourself cope!

Listen to music

Listening to your favorite music can help put you at ease!

Create a playlist of your favorite songs and listen to the music!

Watch a good show

This serves as a distractor from your negative feelings and can help you feel better!

Write something

You can write a letter to your future self, a friend, a family member, or a teacher!

Meditate

Find a quiet area and practice deep breathing, let go of your stressors.

Keep trying. keep doing.

Keep up the good work, we are so proud of you!
