Idania Rodriguez

Chief Executive Officer

Idania Rodriguez is a researcher and nonprofit founder with experience across academic, clinical, and public health settings. She has served as a visiting research fellow with Harvard University, worked at the Lineberger Comprehensive Cancer Center at UNC-Chapel Hill, and is currently working at one of UNC’s interdisciplinary research centers. She is also the author of two published children’s books and previously worked in public relations for a California-based nonprofit.

 

Garrett Livingston

President

Garrett Livingston is an alumnus of the Kenan-Flagler Business School and the Shuford Program at UNC-Chapel Hill. He has held leadership roles including Marketing Director for a California-based nonprofit and is the author of a business book. His professional interests span marketing, entrepreneurship, and mission-driven work.

Garrett is dedicated to empowering students through mental health advocacy by cultivating a supportive platform to foster a strong sense of community for students.

“Hey guys! I’m Anyah! I am the high-school graduating class of 2024! I enjoy singing, dancing, baking, and many other things! I will be attending college to study nursing! I have always loved helping others and through these positions I hope to do just that! I am so honored to be able to take on these positions and hopefully make a difference!”

“Greetings! I am a junior majoring in health & exercise science at Bethune- Cookman University. I am so grateful for the opportunity to work with Mental H2O spreading knowledge and awareness about mental health!” 

“Gabriela is a junior at Wingate University, majoring in Marketing with minors in Communications and Spanish. As a member of the Science Department’s Marketing Team, she manages social media and creates interactive content.” 
 
She believes in integrating diverse passions into a vibrant and dynamic composition. Her journey includes emigrating twice, learning new languages, and embracing diverse cultures with gratitude to God.
