Idania Rodriguez, a student at UNC-Chapel Hill, brings extensive digital marketing expertise as an industry-certified Social Media Strategist. She is a full-time fashion and wellness blogger, the author of two children’s books, and previously served as a public relations manager for a California nonprofit.
Idania is an advocate for mental health, having founded Mental H2O to provide students with a safe space where they can access valuable resources, find community support, and prioritize their well-being.

Garrett Livingston is a student currently studying in the Kenan Flagler School of Business and the Shuford program at UNC-Chapel Hill. He has partaken in many big roles including a Marketing Director for a California NPO and authored a business book. In his free time, he loves to play soccer and listen to music.
Garrett is dedicated to empowering students through mental health advocacy by cultivating a supportive platform to foster a strong sense of community for students.
Daniela Rodriguez excels academically and embodies empathy, compassion, and motivation. As a co-founder of Mental H2O, she has played a pivotal role in recruiting members, developing marketing strategies, and contributing to the overall growth of the organization. Her leadership as COO and CMO has significantly enhanced Mental H2O’s impact, particularly in reaching and supporting young people. Daniela’s natural ability to connect with peers makes her a strong advocate for youth mental health, and her dedication to the cause has been invaluable in expanding the organization’s reach and mission.
Carmela Gonzalez, a former writing intern, now leads Mental H2O’s social media strategy and outreach. Carmela has been instrumental in expanding Mental H2O’s online presence, utilizing innovative strategies to reach a wider audience.
